Islam teaches that Allah revealed His will for humankind word-for-word to Islam’s Prophet Muhammad through the Angel Gabriel. A small percentage of Muslims (<5%) take Allah’s command to heart, “Fight them on until there is no more tumult and there is faith in Allah altogether and everywhere (Qur’an 8:39).” True Muslims obey this core tenet of Islam.
Nearly all Muslims are peaceful because (a) Parents shelter their children from Allah’s command to fight for world domination. (b) Few Muslims (<20%) understand the language of Islam, Arabic, and are discouraged from studying the Qur’an or Islam in any language other than Arabic. (c) Most Islamic teachers are not Arabs, and therefore their knowledge of Islam is limited to rituals, cultural norms and local traditions; that’s all they know how to teach. (d) Frequent communal rituals bond communities together, and most Muslim communities are peaceful.
